Snow Day

A friend gave me a Buddy Pass so I could fly to MN for just one day, to pick up my cat.  I picked the worst day of the whole month of March, apparently.  But this little chickadee on the snowy background was a fun sight anyway.

The branches are in the way a bit, but I had so much fun watching the lynx kittens play at the zoo this morning-- and could not get over the size of these paws!

We had a delicious fondue dinner with my brother and his family.  I loved my picture of the cheese being prepared on the stove, but this one of the wonderful pears and apples turned out sharper.  I  was enjoying the low, cozy lighting.
